     SHUI - “Water”
     Central current
     or stream with waves, ripples.

     LÓNG - “Dragon”
Left: scaly body flying to the sky, & Right: wings.

Asian folktales tell that the Dragon has the attributes of each
of the other 11 signs of the zodiac, including:
the whiskers of the rat, the face and horns of an ox, claws
and teeth of a tiger, belly of a rabbit, body of a snake,
legs of a horse, the beard of a goat/unicorn, wit (or brain) of
a monkey, crest of a rooster, ears of a dog, and snout of a pig.

Thus, a sacred symbol of the collective of all beings, the “we”
     that transcends individuality.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2011 is the Year of the FEMALE METAL RABBIT
(astrological sign of Cancer aka Moon Child)

    Calendar 2011

pictograph on the far right is RABBIT or HARE, sitting:
Cancer literally means the ”Crab” (Western astrology’s
    symbol), and a crab carries its home on its back;
Chinese astrology’s symbol is the burrowing,
home-in-a-hole Rabbit. Either way, Cancerians are
nurturing and enjoy the home life. This sign is ruled
by the moon, hence the nickname Moon Child. For
First Peoples aka American Indians, Great Rabbit
serves as a liaison between Spirit and humankind,
and can also be a trickster (think Bugs Bunny!).

To the left of the Rabbit is the pictograph for Metal:
Underneath the Earth’s layers are four Metal nuggets.

The paper used for the calendar is 100% post consumer
    recycled fiber, chlorine free.

Calendar includes moon cycles, sun sign cycles, holidays of
cultures around the world, plus birthdays, and more.
